Goal 2: Provide green building education, resources, and outreach through regular and special educational programs & events.
2.1: Position the Colorado Chapter as the premier portal for green building education in Colorado by identifying existing and emerging educational and market demand, and implementing statewide strategic priorities for target sectors, topics, and delivery mechanisms.
2.2: Offer educational sessions and programs at the local level through the network of existing and emerging Branches and through the Emerging Green Builder and Student Leader networks, within the broad strategic framework developed collectively at the Chapter level.
2.3: Support the efforts of green building and allied professionals to achieve LEED AP credentials and to maintain their knowledge and skill base over time, through continuing education courses and publications.
2.4: Deliver educational opportunities that address the interests, needs, and concerns of a growing and diversifying green building community, addressing demographic issues such as the urban/rural divide and socioeconomic status (SES).
2.5: Plan and deliver state-wide and sub-state conferences, summits, and seminars addressing priority issues and emerging areas in green building and sustainable development in Colorado.
2.6: Identify and develop educational programs, publications, and other resources to meet the growing and changing needs of the green building community in Colorado.
