Goal 4: Leverage the Colorado Chapter's organizational structure and capacity to support and catalyze the market transformation required to achieve its mission.
4:1: Grow membership in the Colorado Chapter through a strategic focus on membership recruitment, tracking, retention, and development of membership benefits.
4:2: Evolve the Chapter Board of Director's role, structure, and composition to provide the vision, high level strategic guidance, organizational direction, financial resource development, and leadership necessary to advance the organization's mission and vision.
4:3: Diversify the USGBC Colorado Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers, and Membership to provide broader perspective and engagement.
4:4: Support local green building efforts and build local capacity through establishing and supporting Branches of the Colorado Chapter, Emerging Green Builder Groups, and other local initiatives.
4:5: Establish the USGBC CO Council of Councils, to broaden the collaborative leadership of USGBC - Colorado at the state level and increasing the collective voice of like-minded associations.
4:6: Use traditional and innovative strategies to communicate in effective ways, both internally and across the USGBC-CO community, creating a unitied voice.
4:6: Walk the walk. Strive to achieve a high degree of sustainability internally through the development of sustainability principles, goals, and metrics for improvement.
