USGBC-CO Five-Year Strategic Plan (2009-2013)

Beginning in the summer of 2007, Chapter leaders began holding discussions about the longer term strategic goals and objectives for the organization. In March of 2009, the Board of Directors approved USGBC Colorado's Five Year Strategic Plan.

USGBC Colorado Chapter Goals, 2009-2013

Goal 1: Create a more sustainable built environment in Colorado through work on policy and advocacy issues at the state and local level.

Goal 2: Provide green building education, resources, and outreach through regular educational programs, major annual events, and resources supporting LEED education.

Goal 3: Develop & implement cross-cutting special initiatives and programs that address critical issues and sectors in green building in Colorado.

Goal 4: Leverage the Colorado Chapter's organizational structure and capacity to support and catalyze the market transformation required to achieve its mission.
