Primary Objective:
Seeking a team player to share responsibilities in Accounting. Must have excellent communication skills with internal team, clients and vendors. The ability to provide support and timely information for a highly evolved, service-oriented Interior Design firm.
Primary Job Activities:
Full cycle of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in a job cost accounting system. Bank reconciliations, multiple credit card reconciliations, issuing of purchase orders, various internal reporting and creating new reports. Also the challenge of creating a more efficient and streamlined accounting process. Facilities management. Attend meetings to ensure uniform communications.
Miscellaneous Activities:
Employee accounts, petty cash, recover credit balances from vendors, update and issue job and vendor lists and whatever it takes to get the job done.
Work Hours:
Full-time; 40 hours Monday through Thursday, 7:00am-6:00pm (4-ten hour days)
Minimum Qualifications:
Professional manner and ability for an atypical Accountant to fit into a creative environment. Minimum of five (5) years experience, proficient in Excel and a job cost software. Accuracy and thoroughness are a must.
Desirable Qualifications:
Timberline Accounting Software and some word processing are desirable. Network and software support a plus.
