USGBC Colorado provides resources and opportunities at the local level using volunteer-led Branches. Branch Steering Committees are the local leaders of USGBC Colorado.
Branch Steering Committee Elections
Each summer, all three Branches have elections for open positions on their respective Steering Committee. Branch Steering Committee members commit to volunteering for two years, and work in local communities to provide education, outreach, and networking opportunities around green building and sustainable development.
Branch Steering Committee members must be current members of USGBC Colorado. In addition, Branch Steering Committees typically meet once a month to oversee education and other events. Steering Committee members chair or co-chair work groups focused on education, membership, advocacy, and communications.
Each Branch is always looking for volunteers to serve on the various committees - please browse through their respective pages and see what might interest you and who is currently involved.
