Metropolitan Branch Advocacy Committee:

Our meetings are the first Thursday of every month at the Wynkoop Brewery (1634 18th Street).  We often have guest lecturers and presentations from leaders in public policy and the green building industry. Our meetings are at 5:30 on the first Thursday of every month.

We are currently seeking motivated volunteers to assist with the pursuit of local advocacy opportunities.  We are looking for speakers, researchers, advocates, and liaisons.  Our current initiatives include:

VOLUNTEER

City Partnership – We are building relationships with Metro area municipalities to promote the adoption of sustainability initiatives within these communities.

Speaker’s Bureau – We are educating local businesses, community organizations, and associations on the basics of sustainability and LEED.
REQUEST A SPEAKER

Cool Cities – Through a partnership with the Sierra Club, we are working with local cities to promote green building.
