Ultimate Renovators Resource - REGREEN Program

By Annette K. Stelmack, Inspirit LLC

BRINGING REGREEN HOME

Developing the guidelines is a wonderful example of an integrated project approach.  The ASID/USGBC collaboration brought together the leading organizations for interior design and green building around a project for which both perceive tremendous value. In the process, USGBC has gained a greater understanding of what interior designers really do, the importance of their work and its impact (and potential impact) upon the “greenness” of the built environment. Jennifer Owens, LEED AP HOMES and Manager of Residential Education Programs for the U.S. Green Building Council is excited that, ‘The REGREEN website itself is highly interactive and loaded with additional residential retrofit case studies and resources. A two-day REGREEN workshop will assist participants in identifying and evaluating which green considerations, concepts and strategies will make a meaningful and positive impact on their next project. The workshop will explore the science behind green remodeling strategies and how to implement them while capitalizing on positive synergies and avoiding unintended negative ones.’

REGREEN is a remarkable program that is available to all of us.  Make the commitment to green your next renovation as a gift to yourself, family and our beautiful blue planet!  Whether you're a renovation professional or a savvy do-it-yourselfer, let REGREEN help green your next project.  Join USGBC Colorado for REGREEN’s launch in Colorado on September 9-10 in Denver.  Differentiate yourself as a green professional through REGREEN—the most comprehensive and most respected green certificate program in the industry.    To register for the September 9-10 program, please contact Jessica@usgbccolorado.org.  For more information about the REGREEN program, contact regreenprogram@usgbc.org.
