Lunch-n-Learn:
WHY LEED?
Wednesday, August 20th, 12:00 - 1:30pm; Room 118, Guggenheim Hall @ CSU
USGBC's LEED products are green benchmarks for all types of buildings. Through the years, we have developed different perceptions and opinions about the LEED certification process. At the August Lunch-n-Learn presentation, Sandy Hicks, the Environmental Manager for Trane, will clarify old myths surrounding USGBC and LEED using real-life examples of buildings in the Northern Colorado region. Be prepared to participate in a dynamic group discussion on why LEED is good for business, good for the environment, and good for your bottom line, as this presentation is tailored to the questions of the participants. Sandy will be sure that you leave with the right tools to optimize your good intentions in designing, constructing, and/or operating high performance buildings.Cost is $5 for non-members and there is no cost for members. Please RSVP to april.wackerman@usgbc-noco.org.
